Lamar Systems was founded on the belief that "there has to be a better way". Questioning common methods of video acquisition and distribution led Lamar's founder, Chad Boss, to a groundbreaking patent in video transmission over bonded cellular connection, in 1994. 

This spirit of betterment is the current driver in the myriad projects that are under development at Lamar today. 

Our SkyBoss LUX is a current example of this way of thinking. By questioning the standard way people have been gathering high quality remote video, we were able to design a system that is truly unparalleled and unrivaled.

It has to be simple

The focus of our business is to provide products that are simple to operate, and even simpler to manage. As a part of this focus we have developed our camera management server MySkyBoss.

We’re proud of our collective experience in providing a constant stream of media delivery products. And we’re pleased that since Lamar’s beginnings, we’ve compiled a customer list that includes some of the most demanding clients in the world: ABC, NBC, CBS, Time Warner, FOX, and NASA.

We've built our camera systems for over 30 years. Lamar was one of the first companies in the world to integrate an HD imager in an outdoor remote controlled camera system. We've been doing outdoor HD camera systems since 2004.

Where are we going?

As we dream about the future of content delivery, we try and envision our role.

The relationship between the content creator and the viewing audience should be a seamless architecture. Part of this is our new Facebook Live integration with MySkyBoss.

We are constantly developing, writing code, building infrastructures, and designing the hardware to stay on top of current technology.
