Developed by LamarSystems, the KlearLink Video Transport System
(VTS) provides a high quality, affordable solution for video compression
and transport across a Wireless Broadband Platform. The unique
KlearLink systm uses a brand new IV8102 chip digitally encodes and
compresses high resolution video using the new MPEG-4 standard and
will form the core of the next generation of video products to encode and decode video and related data streams. The IV8102 captures and encodes digital video to the MPEG-4 Simple Profile standard and goes beyond Simple Profile to support Advanced Simple Profile features for high resolution 4SIF/D1 size images at full 25/30 fps frame rates. The ability to process digital video at 4SIF/D1 resolutions at full frame rates, on a chip, is believed to be a world first and this feature will enable LamarSystems to offer their customers market-leading video quality.

A hardware-based Video over IP product that digitally compresses and transmits video, audio, alarm events and control data over standard IP data networks between analog cameras, analog monitors and software
viewing applications Encoder and decoder products are available as independent VTS modules, or custom-configured as an integrated codec unit. In addition, PC-based software is available for streaming, viewing, storing and playback on a Windows-based PC.

The IP Backhaul Unit (BH)
The Backhaul Unit (BH) is a point-to-point OFDM radio that is used to carry traffic to and from APs. In the event that no convenient fiber or cable connects are available for an AP, a BH will be required. Each BH communicates to a single BH utilizing a highly directional antenna. The BH is offered with either an RF bit rate of 40 Mbps with a throughput of 20 Mbps. With a maximum range of approximately 20 miles. The BH uplink/downlink bandwidth ratio for a single BH link is configurable by the operator. Each BH requires a separate 110 or 220V power supply and associated RJ45 connector to power the BH. As the developer, value-added reseller and systems integrator of these products, lamar can utilize this unique video streaming technology for an array of custom solutions.
